On Day 1 (28 June 2019), CHAN Shun Hing (Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China) moderated the session of “Politics of Ecology, Energy, and Community - Case Study 2 – Venezuela”. Hernan VARGAS (ALBA; Movimiento de Pobladores, Venezuela) gave his presentation on “The Communal Way in Venezuela: Path, Potentials, and Tensions”.
After presentation, there were discussions. The discussant was WEI Ran (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China). Ariel SALLEH (University of Sydney, Australia), HE Zhixiong (Liang Shuming Rural Reconstruction Center, China), and LAU Kin Chi (Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China) commented and raised questions.
