圖書館於2020年11月24日舉行「陳明銶教授學術藏書開幕禮暨展覽」，並邀請劉智鵬教授 (協理副校長 (學術及對外關係)) 主禮及劉蜀永教授 (香港與華南歷史研究部高級研究員) 主講專題講座。
劉蜀永教授主講「陳明銶教授對香港史和中國史的獨到見地」，並與一眾嘉賓討論陳明銶教授的獨到見地對現今社會狀況的啟發。最後為是次活動出力不少的梁寶龍先生亦分享了近期舉辦機工罷工紀念活動的進展及所遇到的困難。
The "Launching Ceremony & Exhibition of Collection on Prof. Ming K. Chan's Research" was held on 24th November 2020 at the Lingnan University Library. Prof. LAU Chi Pang, Associate Vice-President (Academic Affairs and External Relations), was invited to officiate the ceremony.
Prof. LIU Shu-yong, Senior Research Fellow, Hong Kong and South China Historical Research Programme, delivered a subject talk on "Research Insights from Prof. Ming K. CHAN on the History of Hong Kong and China". Mr. Leung Po Lung also shared some news about the union at the end of the talk.
