On Day 2 (29 June 2019), Murats ES (Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China) moderated the session of “Experiences in Community Regeneration – Cases Studies from Asia”. There were three speakers: Annemarie BUCHER (FOA-FLUX, Switzerland), Swati JANU (Social Design Collaborative, India), and KHO Tungyi (Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China). The discussant was GAO Ming (Shanghai University, China).
Annemarie BUCHER (FOA-FLUX, Switzerland) gave her presentation on “Perma-Arts: Why to Link Arts and Agriculture on the Way to a Sustainable Future?” Swati JANU (Social Design Collaborative, India) gave her presentation on “Self-built Settlements and Community Architecture”. KHO Tungyi (Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China) gave his presentation on “Community and Cultural Regeneration Through Sport”.
During the discussions, Ariel SALLEH (University of Sydney, Australia), Katherine GIBSON (Western Sydney University, Australia), and GAO Ming (Shanghai University, China) commented and raised questions. The speakers then responded.
