工作坊 Workshop
印刷術，是人類文明歷史上的一個重大發明。有了印刷術，人類文明的智慧和知識就可以廣泛流傳。而歷史上的一些重要文件，都會用雕刻而成的印章蓋印來確認。上有帝王用的玉璽，下有詩人畫家用上代表自己的印章。
古代手刻印章的技巧十分複雜，往往需要長時間的練習才能掌握技藝。現在到了21世紀，我們可以借用科技的幫助，用鐳射雕刻的技術設計一個獨一無二、屬於自己的印章。
在這個工作坊內，參加者不但可以了解到科技如何幫助大家設計印章，更可以在完成後把屬於自己的印章帶回家，留為紀念。
內容包括：
- 數碼雕刻印章示範及體驗
- 獲得數碼雕刻印章及集體製作的紀念品一份
- 獲贈《趙鶴琴》一書（數量有限，先到先得，送完即止）
The invention of printing, a significant achievement in the history of human civilization, has enabled the widespread dissemination of wisdom and knowledge. From the imperial jade seals used by emperors to the personal seals employed by poets and artists, seals have held great significance throughout history to authenticate important documents.
The craftsmanship involved in creating seals in ancient times was highly complex and often required years of training. In the 21st century, we can harness the assistance of technology, specifically laser engraving techniques, to design unique and personalised seals.
In this workshop, participants will not only learn how technology can aid in seal design but also create their own distinctive seals. At the end of the workshop, they can take their personalised seals home as a cherished memento.
The workshop includes:
- Demonstration and hands-on experience in creating digital carving seals
- Making a digital carving seal and collectively creating a souvenir
- Receiving one copy of the Book Zhao Heqin (first-come, first-served basis)
導師介紹 Instructor's Biography
簡肇韜是嶺南大學動畫及數碼媒體課程的講師，專注於虛擬實境、互動媒體、電影藝術和立體打印設計等領域。他的教學哲學強調藝術創作不僅僅局限於當下，還應該涵蓋過去和未來。同時，他強調藝術普及的重要性，相信在科技的協助下，藝術創作應該成為每個人的權利，而不再只是藝術家獨有的領域。
Mr. Kan Shiu Tao is a lecturer in the Animation and Digital Arts (ADA) programme at Lingnan University. His main areas of focus include virtual reality, interactive media, film art, and 3D printing design. In terms of his teaching philosophy, he has always believed that artistic creation should encompass not only the present but also the past and the future. He also emphasises the importance of art accessibility. With the assistance of technology, artistic creation should be a right for everyone, rather than an activity confined to "artists" in the past.
