A Happy Day
The Lingnan Gardeners at Lingnan University embodies the principle of "nurturing the soil and nurturing the roots, cultivating trees and cultivating persons." By learning from the land and practicing organic farming, we return to the fundamentals of life — water and soil, the cradle of natural ecology. Only with healthy soil can we grow healthy food; only then can people have healthy bodies and truly happy lives.
Amidst global pandemics, climate change, food insecurity, ecological crises, and war… we find ourselves in a time of uncertainty and danger. What can we do? Each small step by an individual is a giant leap for humanity. We learn harmony with nature from the fields; planting a single seed and planting a tree sows hope for both people and the planet.
