刘忠训高中毕业后回到了老家——重庆万州区云阳县高阳镇鹿头村。从学校到社会，这之间的差别太大了，她面临太多的压力，一度跌入低谷。由于不甘心，她不相信女子不如男，更不相信她不能改变农村的偏见。于是她用行动来证实，一边干农活，一边学习，什么样的人都打交道。从别人那里她学到了书上没有的东西。正是因为环境的关系，她不断地转换自己的身份。为了适应环境，也为了和平、合作，她还函授了法律事务,义务地为村民打官司，维护合法权益。此后积极投入各种新乡村建设活动中，带领村民们建立了合作社，被称为“全能农民”。
云阳县联合种植农民专业合作社成立于2009年，由高阳、路阳、江口、养鹿、上坝这些地方纯农民专业合作社理事长联合组成。自《农民专业合作社法》出台以来，这里的农民为了争取合法的生存空间，做出了不懈的努力。农民有了新的需求，联合社正是在这种情况下成立的。虽然法律对农民专业合作社的扶持政策有明文规定，但是清一色的农民永远都赶不上正点的列车，资金的困难阻碍着这里农民的发展，合作社与地方政府人员进行沟通，希望他们能给予帮助，可他们却说早点了，要么是晚点了。尽管如此，合作社人依然是那么坚持，用心做事。绿色、健康、生态，做真正的有机农业。虽说注册的种植，但实际上是一个综合性的合作社。联合社里有种柑桔的、有种有机大米和蔬菜的、有种药材的、有养蜂的、养猪的、养牛的、养羊的……总之种类是很多的。这种种养结合的目的在于用养殖的粪便覆盖种植业，尽可能免去现代农业对化肥、农药的依赖。一般情况用辣椒水代替了农药。云阳位于重庆的东北部，是一个典型的山区，交通不便。相对于其它地方来说，这里的工厂不多，有很多地方远离污染。正是这些方面的原因，做有机农业是个不错的地方。尽管有机农业在这里还不被多数人接受，可是合作社却希望通过努力，让大家都行动起来，给子孙留下一片净土，呼吸新鲜的空气。努力创造一种逐步趋于桃花源的现实生活。
After she graduated from high school, Liu Zhongxun returned back to her hometown –Lutou Village, Gaoyang Town, Yunyang County, Wanzhou District, Chongqing Municipality. Obviously, there was a great gap between her life on campus and in society. She had to face so much pressure after her return. Once she even almost lost her confidence and reached her life bottom. Fortunately, she never really gave up, and never believed that female is not as good as male, moreover, she never believed that she was not able to change the prejudice which was prevailing in rural area. Therefore, she proved herself by her actions. She never forgot to study even when she was busy in her farming. She tried to establish her own network by communicate with all kinds of people and learned from them whatever not written in books. During those days, due to different social requirements, she had to switch her social identities quite frequently for a harmonious and cooperative daily life. In order to protect her villagers’ proper rights, she also majored in law in her correspondence university, and engaged in the lawsuits as their representative. Afterwards, since she devoted herself into different projects on “New Rural Construction”, and led her villagers to form their own cooperative, she is called “versatile farmer” until now.
- The cooperative was founded in 2009. Chief members include the directors of local farmers’ specialized cooperative in Gaoyang, Luyang, Jiangkou, Yanglu, Shangba. Since 2006 when the law of farmer speciality cooperation was proved, the farmers made great efforts to fight for their legitimate survival space. The cooperative emerged just at that time when our farmers had their new demands.
- Though the supportive policies were included in the law, our farmers never caught up with the “policy train”. For example, lack of enough funding blocked the development of their agricultural production. When they tried to get financial help from the government, they were always told either too early or too late to ask for help. Even though, they are still so perseverant, and spared no effort to insist on what they believed right. Green, healthy, and ecological agriculture was the real organic agriculture what they were seeking. As far as the cooperative is concerned, instead of plating only, it is actually a comprehensive one. They plant orange, tangerine, organic rice, vegetable and medicinal herb, meanwhile, some of them feed bees, pigs, cows and sheep. In a word, their production is so diverse. The purpose of the planting-feeding combined pattern was to utilize manure generated from cattle as organic fertilizer to avoid the usage of chemical fertilizer and pesticide. Pepper water is normally used as pesticide.
- Yunyang, located in northeast of Chongqing municipality, is a typical mountainous area, the transport system there is not so advanced. Because of the reasons above, there are not so many factories in Yunyang, and in other words, Yunyang is far away from pollution. So Yunyang is the suitable place for developing organic agriculture. Despite of the low recognition of organic agriculture by most of people, our cooperative is still looking forward to mutual efforts from all of others to leave clean lands and fresh air for our offspring. Let’s create “the Peach Garden”-like environment by our endeavors step by step.
