Description

The talk titled 'Urban Astrophotography – Deep Sky Objects' is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on introducing the equipment and shooting steps involved in capturing deep sky objects, along with an overview of the post-production process. The second part delves into the fascinating remote-controlled observatory in Sai Kung and remote-controlled observatory in Chile. The third part revolves around photo sharing including deep sky photos taken in Hong Kong using basic equipment, deep sky photos taken in Hong Kong with intermediate equipment and the deep sky photos taken under the unpolluted starry sky of Chile. Also, there will be live demonstrations of the latest equipment on-site, along with a brief introduction to what is Astrophysics and the pathways for further study.
