Description
This event brings together three performer-educators from different backgrounds—classical and new music, contemporary and experimental jazz, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous Philippine music—to explore the role of music improvisation in learning, teaching, and sharing knowledge around performance and artistic and cultural identity. Individual talks on respective practices will culminate in a performance jam featuring the panelists.
