Description
With the ever-growing economic integration between mainland China and Hong Kong, the project team constructed the Chinese mainland-Hong Kong Economic Integration Index as a measurement on economic integration between these two economies. The index is measured on annual basis from 1990 to 2016, which aims at providing a quantifiable basis for policy discussion and assessment on social consequences of the integration.
This project is funded by the Public Policy Research (PPR) Funding Scheme, Central Policy Unit.
