Preparation and Promotion of Life-long Learning among Secondary School Teachers and Students in the Northwest New Territories
是次講座 (名人講座系列) 為於2000年獲優質教育基金撥款資助的「新界西北區中學師生終身學習協作計劃」其中一項活動。計劃主要是透過嶺南大學與五所中學（路得會呂祥光中學、聖公會白約翰會督中學、仁愛堂田家炳中學、順德聯誼會譚伯羽中學、及可道中學）以夥伴模式的協作，讓師生掌握豐富知識，提升自主學習能力，實踐終身學習的途徑。
The public lecture was part of the project titled “Preparation and Promotion of Life-long Learning among Secondary School Teachers and Students in the Northwest New Territories“, funded by the Quality Education Fund in 2000. Lingnan University undertook a joint project in collaborative partnership with five target secondary schools (Lui Cheung Kwong Lutheran College, SKH Bishop Baker Secondary School, Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Secondary School, STFA Tam Pak Yu College, and Ho Dao College) in Northwest New Territories to prepare teachers and students of these schools for engaging in lifelong learning and to promote lifelong learning overall.
