Biography
Mr Larry KWOK Lam-Kwong, founding partner of Kwok Yih & Chan, has been serving in the legal profession for nearly 40 years. Mr Kwok was honoured by a number of international legal publications as a leading lawyer, and was recognised by the Asian Legal Business as among the 100 hottest lawyers in China. In addition, he was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star and the Silver Bauhinia Star in 2008 and 2017 respectively.
Mr Kwok has not only contributed to his profession extensively, but also achieved a remarkable record of leadership in public service. Since 2012, he has been serving as Chairman of the Transport Advisory Committee. He also held key positions on numerous Government boards and committees. To note a few, he was appointed Convenor of the Disciplinary Appeals Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Chairman of the Traffic Accident Victims Assistance Advisory Committee, Chairman of the Appeal Board of the Criminal and Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation Boards, Vice-Chairman of the Consumer Council and Chairman of the Independent Police Complaints Council. He has made valuable contributions to a variety of fields by protecting the rights of the public.
