19 April 2012 - Digital Commons @ Lingnan University : A Showcase for Lingnan's Scholarship and Creative Works
What is an Institutional Repository? What can it do for faculty and academic departments? The Library cordially invites your participation to the demo of our pilot project implementing Lingnan’s institutional repository, at NAB214 on 19 April 2012 (Thursday). We will show you what an Institutional Repository looks like, what it can do for you and your faculty, what kind of publications can be included and highlight the experience of a faculty member who participated in the pilot project.
In addition, Mr. Tim Tamminga, Vice President from bepress (Berkeley Electronic Press), will show us some successful institutional repositories in action and how Digital Commons can be used to provide effective publishing services for scholarly journals, conferences, books, and other formats.
