Description
Focus on one of the central topics in the field of the humanities: the crisis of the humanities. Prof Olsen is of the view that the concept of the humanities embodies an educational ideal: the ideal of an educated person that will be able to live a rich and useful life because he has developed all aspects of his mind and personality. The humanities are thus a repository of the values that define what it is to be fully human.
