Abstract

The number of business applications that use mobile phones is ever increasing, but the central processing unit (CPU) in these devices is much slower than those that are used in computers, which has limited the development of many applications. This paper presents two models for extending the capabilities of mobile phones by connecting multiple mobile devices and ordinary computers to form an ad-hoc network. Each device can easily share the resources of the others using the latest Internet and wireless technologies.
