Abstract

The article presents abstracts of studies on factors influencing the word-of-mouth (WOM) content which include effect of early responses to a post to later responses by Rebecca Hamilton and colleagues, bias in what people talk by Evan Weingarten and Jonah Berger and impact of mobile devices versus desktop restaurant reviews by Nicholas Lurie and colleagues, presented at the 44th annual conference of the Association for Consumer Research (ACR) held in Chicago, Illinois from October 3-6, 2013.
