Abstract
英華書院是香港最早的西式書院。十九世紀中葉，英華書院於印刷出版作出過重要的貢獻。本文討論英華書院的出版物和《伊索寓言》國學化的關係，重點在介紹《遐邇貫珍》中的「喻言一則」，旁及由東京阿部弘國訓點的《漢譯伊蘇 普譚》。
