1969年7月，為了整合資源推動嶺南教育，「嶺南書院有限公司」及「嶺南中學有限公司」向高等法院申請合併成為「嶺南教育機構有限公司」，簡稱「嶺南教育機構」(LEO) ，成為嶺南書院和嶺南中學的辦學團體。
嶺南大學在港復校已逾半世紀，傳承了前廣州嶺大的傳統服務精神，成為香港高等教育界重要一員，當中LEO一直肩擔舉足輕重的角色。
In order to pull resources together to support Lingnan education, “Lingnan College Limited” and “Lingnan Middle School Limited” applied to the Supreme Court (now High Court) for a merger in July 1969p becoming a unique sponsoring body under the name of “Lingnan Education Organization Limited” (LEO), overseeing the management of Lingnan College and Lingnan Middle School.
With over 50 years of history, the development of today’s Lingnan University in Hong Kong is a reflection of the extensive contributions made by LEO in carrying on the fine traditions and spirits of Lingnan education.
