Abstract

Through textual/narrative analysis, I first examine woman netizens/activists’ discussion of the Lau incident on one Facebook group in order to articulate their affective responses to Lau’s views on verbal violence and “feminist claims.” I also interviewed women activists on their perception and evaluation of the possible affect(s) involved in their political participation, online and real life.
