Description
嶺南校徽由司徒衛先生設計，自1911年被正式採用。圖案是由原廣州康樂校址北望之全景，其中之山、水、樹及小徑各具深義。顔色以紅灰為主，即「殷紅如血，深灰似鐵」，嶺南人本著道紅灰精神，堅強忠義，向前奮進。
白雲山象徵人生最高之理想；
珠江象徵嶺南教澤源遠流長；
荔枝樹結實纍纍，象徵嶺南人作育英才，服務社會的理想；
江前小徑象徵嶺南學子努力不懈，向未來邁進。
Lingnan Logo, designed by Mr. Szto Wai, have been officially adopted since 1911. The logo depicts a panoramic northward view of Hong Lok campus. The symbolism of the mountain, water, trees and winding path is far-reaching. The vibrant-red and iron-grey colours of the logo, symbolize integrity and loyalty, forming Lingnan spirit to inspire fellow Lingnanians marching their way to the future.
The White Cloud Mountain depicts the highest aspiration in life;
The Pearl River represents the long history and wide dissemination of Lingnan education;
The Lychee trees with ripe fruit hanging in clusters represents Lingnan's motto - Education for Service;
The path represents the road to the future by virtue of hard work.
